Giorgio Armani’s History of Elegance

The "Man Behind the Design" so to call him. Giorgio Armani is one of the most famous fashion style designer in Italy. His impact to market is crisp, elegant, clean as well as tailored. His designs hit denaturized the look and feel of contemporary style in business, recreation and the style industry itself. He seems to be called a no-nonsense fashion designer who came from humble beginnings in Piacenza, Italy, where he was born on July 11, 1934.

When he was young, he wanted to be a doctor, rather than to be a designer. After attended different topical public schools for medicine he then realized that medicine is not the career for him. He didn't same the sight of blood - to advert just one reason. In 1957 and still in his primeval 20s, Giorgio took a job at La Rinascente and eventually became a vendor for this most famous Milanese department store.

In 1964 Armani, who had never received any formal instruction, became an assistant fashion designer for a distinction of men's wear, called Hitman, under Nino Cerrutti. He worked with Cerrutti for 6 years. In 1970, due largely to the encouragement of his longtime partner, Sergio Galeotti, with whom he cohabitated for many years before Sergio's passing of AIDS in 1985, Armani build her own. He became a freelance style designer. By 1975, Armani and Galeotti had ingrained Giorgio Armani S.p.A. Giorgio had created his possess distinction of men's and women's ready-to-wear Armani clothing.

At 80’s, Armani hit Hollywood. He fashioned the wardrobe for Richard Gere's character in American Gigolo. Currently, Armani fashions were being worn by many celebrities such as Jodie Foster, Michelle Pfeiffer and the actor Richard DeNiro. Giorgio Armani's fashions hit the Red Carpet at many entertainment industry events for decades.

'Power Suit', one of the Armani suit’s, has been created by him which has been the blueprint for business wear over 20 years now. In 1982, Armani graced the cover of Time magazine, the first fashion designer to receive that honor since Christian Dior. Armani’s eye-catching manner however, add the glamour to his design, and he deserves to received several awards.
